After much speculation and recently being the topic of a highly publicized political debate within the Town of Kinderhook, Ed Habeck Jr. and Kinderhook Toyota is pleased to announce that we will be relocating to the Town of Ghent. Our new location will remain along Route 9H, only three south of our current setting. The new facility will be constructed near the intersection of 9H and Falls Rd.

The establishing of this new location is long overdue. This is yet another step in continuing our heritage of loyal customer service and offering a dependable product within Columbia County.

The new site will enable us to construct a modern, 30,000-sq/ft facility, which will triple that of our current operation. The increase of space will present a more consumer-friendly setup; by offering ample and organized parking as well as key convenience factors such as drive thru service lanes. The additional space will also mimic that of Toyota growing as a whole nationwide, allowing us to accommodate for the increase of Toyota product that will be on the road in the future.

The most notable proclamation of this move is actually its close proximity to our established location. Contrary to what many people and politicians have been stating to the media, Kinderhook Toyota will remain in Columbia County and is not leaving to "make more money elsewhere". In fact, we will be remaining so close, that it will offer no increased effort in accessibility for our current patrons. This has been our number one priority all along, and we are very pleased that our new Ghent location will allow us to continue servicing our existing customer base.

We hope to begin construction as soon as the spring of 2008.
